(Me opening up the first blank street cart)

I love coffee. I love how it brings people together. I plan on owning a cafe operating in tandem to an arts/production space that is pay what you can. I’m working on a coffee shop movie to capture all the crazy beautiful enCounters behind the counter.

And while I have you Here, Lovingly:

Hey. You. Tip your barista.

They make minimum wage and make your day brighter. They don’t just “do their job,” they also deal with us (Pre-coffee.) We say “we’re all in this together” and then don’t tip on a cold brew that costs $7.

When you don’t tip, you’re effectively saying: “I don’t value what you just did for me” and “my time and money are more valuable than yours.”

You’re a good person. You don’t feel this way. It’s not your job to care for them. But you want to.

They don’t know that.

So lovingly, hey. You. Tip your barista. Always.
